Happiness held is the seed; happiness shared is the flower.

(John Harrigan)

We believe in local flowers. Our flowers are grown with a dedication to the sustainability and health of the land and a passion for sharing the beauty of fresh, seasonal flowers with our community.

Stewardship

We are conscious of our impact on our gardens, fields, brook and beyond. Our flowers are grown with no chemicals and we practice low till methods to preserve soil structure. Throughout the season, we work hard to nurture and ‘give back’ to our soil by rotating cover crops, using compost and applying natural amendments. We also celebrate pollinators, birds and beneficial bugs. These critters all play a role in keeping our flower farm and our land healthy and in balance. Our boys pick the flowers, eat veggies pulled right out of the ground and splash in the brook making it all the more important that we keep yucky chemicals off our farm!

Seasonal Harmony

We grow flowers with the seasons. The rhythm of each season informs what flowers we plant and harvest. Some flowers grow best in the early, cool spring (hello ranunculus!) and others prefer the heat of midsummer (ah, zinnias!) We embrace and celebrate these changes. It makes our offerings diverse, fresh, ever-changing and best of all … in tune with our little corner of the world.

Community & Family

We believe in the power of community. We LOVE sharing beautiful flowers with our neighbors. If you ever purchase flowers from us, you may notice a goofy grin on my face. That’s because I love what I do and am super excited to pass along the joy of flowers to you. Flowers feed the soul. They are a unique and beautiful expression of caring that has been shown to change brain chemistry in positive ways. We want to foster the joy of flowers by offering them to our local community. We also believe in family. Our two little boys are a huge part of who we are and what we do. We cherish sharing our flower farming journey with them by modeling what it is to work hard and chase your dreams. At the end of the day, if we have dirty hands and happy hearts - that’s pretty darn wonderful.
